A Highland Port Takes On 180 Jobs for the Dogger Bank

Up to 180 skilled jobs are being created at a Highland port to pre-assemble turbines for the Dogger Bank Wind Farm. The bank has been an employer for years; the work is just landing 500 km from the bank itself, and only until the last turbine goes up.

The Builders Are Booked

Vattenfall and CIP have handed DEME up to €300 million to plant 69 monopile foundations at Zeevonk, for offshore work that starts in 2028. The fleet Nieuw Doggerland needs exists, and it is winning work years ahead; the constraint is not capability but the queue.

An Island Arrives in Boxes

A Harvest Between the Turbines

Canada Orders an Island

Vancouver's port authority has picked a Van Oord consortium to build Roberts Bank Terminal 2: 130 hectares of new land in the sea, a 1,300-metre wharf, and a widened causeway. Every element of that scope is in the Nieuw Doggerland construction plan.
